A Story Woven in Glass
For many of us, the sight of a candy cane evokes cherished memories. I created this stained glass piece specifically for this year'sAdventszeit (Advent season), inspired by my own childhood fascination. Growing up in Germany, I remember watching early Christmas movies where the cheerful, striped candy canes were everywhere—a wonderful symbol that wasn't commonly found here at the time. Over the years, the candy cane has blossomed into a universal sign of Christmas joy around the world. This artwork is my tribute to that evolving, shared holiday tradition.
